Bolivian Blanket | Cassis Marigold
These thick, colorful frazadas—handwoven from sheep's wool by a women's cooperative in Bolivia—are among the last vestiges of traditional handweaving still thriving in the central Andes. Sourced by Little Journeys in Chicago, these remarkable textiles are perfect for a number of uses: heavy enough to be used as a rug; soft enough to make a cozy throw for a bed or sofa; supple enough to work as a tablecloth; and durable enough to make a practical blanket at the beach or park. This frazada measures approximately 60" x 64"; and features cassis and marigold stripes.
