Nora Dress | Hope/Marine
A passion for fabric—found cloth, heritage scraps, appealing textures—led designers Cary Vaughan and Jenna Wilson of Brooklyn-based Ace & Jig to India, where they collaborate with textile specialists to weave custom fabrics on ancient looms. Seen here is the duo's reversible Nora dress, a midi-length shift dress with a square neckline, dolman sleeves, side slits, and a rope belt. Can be worn back-to-front with high or low neck facing forward, as well as fully reversible. Available in Hope, a 100% cotton substantial doublecloth of multicolored triangle motifs. Reverses to Marine, a 100% cotton substantial doublecloth in an oversized plaid of variegated indigo blues. Due to this item's handmade nature, slight weaving imperfections and color variations may occur—this is part of its unique beauty, and should not be considered a defect.
